Story Makers sites allow us to create stories in an easy way in the classroom. In this practise we are entering some of them to be aware of its didactic possibilities.
STORY MAKER - Reading Planet
Story Maker (http://www.rif.org/readingplanet/gamestation/storymaker/default.aspx) is a useful site to create stories in an easy way. Children only have to follow 4 steps and they get the start of their own personalised story.
Steps:
STORY MAKER - British Council
This site (http://www.britishcouncil.org/kids-writing-storymaker.htm) offers the students the possibility of creating their own story. http://www.britishcouncil.org/kids-writing-storymaker.htm
Poetry Splatter (http://www.rif.org/readingplanet/gamestation/poetrysplatter/default.mspx) is a space to create poems classified by levels of difficulty (ages). Children start by splattering words onto the screen and drag them into the poem.
WACKY WEB TALES (http://www.eduplace.com/tales/). Children have to choose a tale, fill in the blanks with nouns, verbs, and other words and they get a crazy tale. It is a good site to create funny stories. At the same site, in the section tackle reading space (http://www.eduplace.com/tacklereading/index.html), children can do exciting reading activities.
Funbrain (http://www.funbrain.com/brain/ReadingBrain/ReadingBrain.html).By choosing a Mad Libs Junior, children can create a story in a really silly way by playing.
