The main aim now is to practise directions with our students through reading and listening to the story The treasure map, that it is included in the LearnEnglishKids section of the British Council site.
This web site, as you will see in other modules and practises, offer the teacher lots of learning resources classified according to kind of activity (games, print and do, songs, stories and get writing).
and two possibilities are offered:
The story does not go through the pages automatically to allow the students to carefully read it or review the previous page by clicking on Back. The can follow their own rate of work. Students can move from the story to the map by clicking on the View map and Close map buttons that appear on the screen. This option allows them to see the directions in practise.
Previously it is advisable to revise with the students the vocabulary related to directions.
